ive been a regular at the gremlin for the past 5 years and oh my this past week as of writing this was not good the "bartenders" danny and gio were nothing but rude their tone sounds as if they dont care about the customers everyone else that works there amazing they try to connect and have a convo with us i consider them good friends but i hate when i have to order from danny and gio they make me feel uncomfortable. in the past 5 years ive been here ive never experienced this type of behavior from anyone at the gremlin before

I love the food here. Drinks are hit or miss. Sake bomb is ok. Wings are good but 4 wings with a dribble of sauce , no fries or drink for 12.99 is Diabolical!!

A friend brought me here about a year ago, and it quickly became my favorite place. The atmosphere has always been nice, but sadly the quality of the food has gone downhill a lot. The portions used to be good, the food tasted great, and the prices felt worth it. My last visit was the worst experience. They took 35 minutes to bring my food, and when it finally arrived, I was literally served 4 fries and a sandwich that was honestly ridiculous for the price and quality. I felt very disappointed and disrespected as a customer. Of course I sent it back. Because this used to be one of my favorite places, I gave them many chances, but I definitely will not be coming back and I cannot recommend this place anymore.

This place is soooooo amazing. I came to watch my stepson play a show. The atmosphere was super cool and bar tenders were so friendly. Let me tell you the Lumpia is the best in the valley no doubt. I also got the combination fried rice and ommmmggg it was soo delicious. Our food literally came about 7 minafter we ordered and it was so fresh and delicious. I cannot wait to come back again for sure thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!! 💕

It is such a great and welcoming environment, honestly. I've made some good friends here and the food is great! They serve brunch on occasion and their menu changes here and there. Live bands, DJs, open mics, and comedy nights, this place has got it all.

Came here to see glare and I was so impressed with everything! It’s a beautiful venue, lovely scenery, and the bathrooms were really clean. The bar had a variety of drinks, the bartenders were super polite, and the food was awesome. Ordered the chicken sandwich and fried Oreos and both came out in a timely manner! Everything was super delicious. There were little merch booths set up, I was able to be super close to the stage, and overall it was just a really great environment. Can’t wait to come back 🩷 I had a beautiful experience here

Tues 2/21/23 7pm- We normally don't visit downtown McAllen but decided to give this location a try. It's small inside but there is plenty of outdoor space outside. The location does give a bar type vibe; the inside is very charming. They had an event around 9-10 but unfortunately we couldn't stay. There is a small stage in the front and a bigger stage out back. It's a nice hangout spot.
